Useful Hearts Links

There are a vast number of Hearts-related sites on the Net. We are particularly impressed with the following ones.

Mr. Hoyle (that does appear to be his real name) has put together an impressive description of a Hearts variant very similar to the "standard" variant used by InOnIt Hearts. He has a particularly good list of other Hearts variants, some of which are supported by the InOnIt Hearts Application API. Also a good list of links pertaining to strategy, other Hearts sites, sites for playing on the Internet, ... check the page for other topics.

Pagat.com is a site which explains that it is dedicated to "bringing you rules and information about card and tile games from all parts of the world." Their Hearts page contains is a good general site about Hearts, containing rules, variants, and a set of Hearts-related Internet resources.

An interesting perspective on strategy from the author of a shareware Hearts program. The program also had an open AI API, using Windows DDE.

Someone who appears to be affiliated with the site sent me a link to e-heartsmaster.com, which appears to be one of many sites where you can play Hearts online. I don't know anything more about it, and the message may have been just spam.
